Bracelets

The other day when my baby and I was talking on Skype, I was asking her what her braclets meant. She said that 1 was for her friend and then the other for her friend's mom; cause for cancer. She told me that when she gets into the medicine program she will definitely quite smoking for sure. I think she's sexy though when she smokes even though I know it's not a healthy habit! I started talking to her about the guard at the hospital who creeped me out when I walked out of the place and he was asking if I was in high school and I told him that i'm done with that. And the other guards were like see she's out of high school. The guy was like, "I just wanted to know if she was over 18."

My gf agreed that was creepy and was like you should have something to tell him that you are gay. I said that he should have known because that's what my bracelet stands for. She was like, "what does it say"? I said, "Love conquers Hate. (My gf is gay) My gf was like, " I didn't know what it meant"! And I realized well this bracelet I chose wasn't the one that shouts out, "Hello I'm GAY to the world". I know I'm such a nerd, but I saw this girl at U of I wearing one and then I knew she was gay (only cuz I bought it from that HRC site and then she was coming from the gay alliance - otherwise by looking at her I would have not known she was at all...just that she was holding her bff's hand as a sign of friendship =D).
